Title: Lattice QCD at large isospin density: 6144 pions in a box
Abstract:Â Isospin dense QCD provides a useful system for studying the
nonperturbative thermodynamics of QCD, with relevance to systems such
as neutron stars. In this talk, I will discuss our recent work
(arXiv:2307.15014, arXiv:2406.09273), in which we were able to map out
the entirety of the zero temperature, nonzero isospin region of the QCD
phase diagram using novel methods for computing multipion correlation
functions in Lattice QCD. In particular, I will give an overview of our
methodology and results, including how these results provide rigorous
bounds on the baryon-dense region of the QCD phase diagram.
