Please allow a reasonable amount of time when planning research proposal submissions. This will allow for the development of the necessary documents and the proper review before submission of the research proposal.
Notification to the Department: Provide notification at least thirty calendar days before the proposal submission deadline or as soon you become aware of the planned submission.
Materials for Routing: For basic proposals that do not involve other University departments, subawards, cost sharing or that are otherwise complex, the University asks for six business days to review your full and completed proposal.
At the absolute minimum, proposals should be available for review no later than 48 business hours before the proposal deadline.
