Steve Rolston Named Recipient of Kirwan Undergraduate Education Award

Steve Rolston has been choosen as the recipient of the Kirwan Undergraduate Education Award for 2014. The prestigious award recognizes a faculty member who has made exceptional contributions to the quality of undergraduate education at the university.

Professor Rolston, co-director of the JQI, was recognized for his outstanding achievment in engaging undergraduates (majors and non-majors alike) in science education, emphasizing its applicability and importance in everyday life. He is a model faculty member skilled at research and exceedingly devoted to the department's teaching mission.

The award will be presented at the Campus Convocation this fall in the Memorial Chapel.

Professor Gates on Supersymmetry and Music
