Quidditch Camp2

One of our most popular camps - fills up quickly! Apply now at the bottom of this page!

This camper-favorite program, now in its fourth year, combines physics, sports, and the magic of the Harry Potter series into one thrilling camp. Throughout the week, campers will spend time outside on the quidditch pitch, learning to play the real-life version of the magical game from Harry's world. Campers will also learn about the physics behind basic athletic skills like throwing, passing, and catching, with hands-on labs that allow them to experiment with concepts like inertia and projectile motion. Early in the week, campers will be sorted into their respective Houses and compete for the Quidditch Cup, and will also use their science skills to compete in the different tasks of the "Try-Physics Tournament." Parents are invited to a final Friday quidditch tournament and luncheon, which will also provide a chance for the campers to show off their physics knowledge in a final showcase.

The Physics of Quidditch Summer Camp was featured on US Quidditch's website: read article.
