Calculating the low Mellin moments of the pion light-cone distribution amplitude using the HOPE method
Abstract:
The pion light cone distribution amplitude (LCDA) is an essential non-perturbative input for a range of high-energy exclusive processes in quantum chromodynamics. While a direct calculation of this quantity is impossible in a Euclidean quantum field theory like lattice QCD, it is possible to obtain information about the set of Mellin moments of the pion LCDA. These moments can be used to constrain the x-dependence of the LCDA. In this talk, I will discuss the calculation of the low Mellin moments of the pion LCDA using the heavy quark operator product expansion (HOPE) method.
